John Waligorski is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from the Pastoral Ministry Program in 2018 and from the Spiritual Direction Program in 2021 both from St. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario and is certified as a Christian Spiritual Counselor through The American Institute of Health Care Professionals, Inc.. His Spiritual approach is based mainly upon the Desert and Eastern Fathers and Thomas Merton. Other influences come from Wayne Teasdale, Anthony De Mello and William Johnston as well as Thomas Moore, Joseph Campbell and John O’Donohue. Because he is a long time practitioner of Tai Chi, Qigong and is a Meditation instructor, John has studied Taoism and Zen Buddhism.  John currently resides in Sarnia, Ontario and is a member of St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church.
